Consumption goods and trivial items

Feature Requests

You should add filters for trivial items such as plastic bags. If they register as an item I own, on the same level as a pair of pants, and I manually have to delete them I will soon leave this app. Also, the option to label something as “forbruksvare” is gone. Is the new idea that those items should be deleted?

    Hi Michael! Thanks for the feedback! The old “Consumable” status has been grouped with a couple of other statuses in “Other”. Plastic bags, services etc. are meant to automatically be put there, on not be shown in your Inventory, unless you go to the “Other” folder.

    That said, we are currently exploring soft deleting these types of items instead of putting them in “Other”. In that case, you would be able to find them in the “Trash” or their related receipt, and restore them if they were mislabeled.

      Forstår ikke helt tankegangen deres her. En kategori som bare heter «Other» er da mye mer diffus og vanskelig å skjønne hva man skal med enn en mer presis kategorisering av ting slik det var før? Hva er tanken med å gjøre det MER diffust? Syns det var veldig nyttig at ting havnet i kategorier som «forbruksvarer», «komponenter» etc. Det beste hadde vært om forbruksvarer ble tagget som nettopp det og så automatisk slettet etter en viss tid, feks et par mnd (bonus points for muligheten til å selv velge tidsintervall på når det slettes - feks umiddelbart, en mnd, 3 mnd, 1 år, aldri)
